Ascension x AK College Consulting
Alycia Hochberger, M.Ed., has worked as an independent college counselor since 2017, guiding high school students through the nuanced college admissions process. Families have returned to Alycia time and again to ease the stress of college applications. She enjoys guiding students and families through what can be a daunting process.
Alycia focuses on building relationships with students and families to find the “right fit” college for all learners. Alycia was a former classroom teacher for 17 years and is a certified educator in the state of Massachusetts. Alycia has her graduate degree in education and is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants of America. She enthusiastically shares her tips on the college admissions process when she presents at high schools and other places where parents and students gather.
This partnership expands Ascension’s offerings by combining tutoring and admissions support with full-service guidance through high school and college transition planning, giving students and families the tools they need to approach college applications with confidence and clarity.
